Not only did I have a friend in Grass Valley to visit, but I HAD to go to Inn Town Campground in Nevada City. In the fall of 2017, as part of my preparation for this journey, I rented a Class C motorhome and camped at Inn Town for a Girl Camper weekend. Inn Town owner Erin Thiem was so encouraging, I had to go back and tell her the end of the story. Funny thing – they put me in the exact same campsite as I had been in in the rental… and it wasn’t intentional. But I don’t think it was a coincidence, either! Hmmm…
