Halloween is a big deal at lots of campgrounds. At this KOA, it was celebrated on the three-day Canadian Thanksgiving weekend. Since I’m a big sentimental mush, it was super fun to participate in all these festivities!

- I was one of three judges for the individual costume contest since I didn’t have any kids competing. We gave this costume “most original.” The digital 06:66 on this oven is the pièce de résistance!

- BRILLIANT group costume! They even clinked real beer bottles together when they walked to make the sound effect! We were at a KOA (Kampground of America), so that’s why Corona is spelled that way.

- I repurposed my meager indoor autumn decorations outside, finally got out my propane fire pit for the first time(!), and bought 200 pieces of candy to give out to the campground kids trick-or-treating.
