My friend Janet, who was the most important draw to visiting to Missoula, should be declared a national treasure. She is whip smart, fierce and funny as hell. And wise, so wise. I could listen to her talk all day. And then I got to meet her daughter Francine, who is one of the kindest people I have ever met. The Saturday that Francine and I walked around MizZOOla, at least one quarter of the people we encountered ran up and threw their arms around her. And on top of that, Francine also introduced me to artist Andrea Castillo, whose personal reflections I very much enjoy reading on social media. Such good, good people in the world. So blessed to have met them.

- The faded writing on the wall, the hill in the background, bikes, trees, streetlamps, architecture and X’s are nice elements of “place.” My only regret is that I didn’t angle it so you can see the pizza place next door with the best name ever – Pie Hole. ??
