Peggy’s Cove was one of three places my sister, who happily honeymooned in Nova Scotia, recommended I visit. Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg (another of her recommendations) are pretty close to each other on the South Shore of the Atlantic, south of Halifax. Both are charming, each in their way. Even though Peggy’s Cove is a major tourist destination, it still feels like a rustic fishing village. It is starkly beautiful, and reminds me that this land wasn’t named New Scotland (“Nova Scotia”) for nothing. See the previous post for Lunenburg!
