Charlie is another(!) dear friend from high school in South Carolina. I stayed with him and his family for a few days, and… was so busy conversing that I failed to take photos except for that one selfie. He and his daughter gave me a tour of New Haven, and I went gaga over the gothic architecture at Yale. It’s amazing to notice the detail of the detail – the thought and care to research it, imagine it, design it, craft it in construction. What a gift to be surrounded by art, as well as by nature, to be inspired to spirit, creativity and thought!
