It was SO INCREDIBLY DELIGHTFUL to celebrate Passover at the Asheville Jewish Community Center’s weekly Musical Tot Shabbat. My friend Penny White, who I met when she was singing and playing guitar when *I* was a kid, has made a career out of the transformative power of “camp music” ministry. It was wonderful to experience the engagement, community and joy created for the kids, parents and teachers in the room. What a slice of heaven!
I can’t say it any better, so I’ll quote Penny. “May we all find joy and freedom and meaning in our celebrations and traditions. Let’s remember to be kind to the stranger and our neighbors, and laugh with and hug the ones we love. Happy Spring, y’all!”
